The term “coaching” refers to services that are not aimed at treating a mental health diagnosis, and that are outside of the traditional medical model of treatment. Coaching is not meant to be used as a substitute for psychotherapy, counseling, substance abuse treatment, or any other mental health service. Coaching is more similar to mentoring than it is to any type of mental health treatment. It can be an excellent choice for people who are not in crisis and are highly motivated to make change(s) for themself.
Coaches tend to have a specific focus. Many people are familiar with fitness coaches, career coaches, and even “life” coaches. The coaching I offer is of a spiritual nature and is rooted in the principles of A Course in Miracles (a self-study spiritual thought system).
All that is given you is for release; the sight, the vision and the inner Guide all lead you out of hell with those you love beside you, and the universe with them.
A Course in Miracles
I have been a student of A Course in Miracles for nearly 20 years. Since I found ACIM at a young age (I was 20 years old at first introduction), I have had it as a lens through which I see the world for roughly half of my life. My understanding and practice of ACIM has been integral in my own personal growth and development, as well as in helping me to achieve a greater sense of inner peace.
The ACIM-based spiritual coaching services that I offer are aimed at supporting people in their own understanding and practice of the principles of ACIM. Most of my clients are already Course students who are interested in deepening their practice and being able to be mentored by someone who has had a long personal practice and relationship with the Course.
The coaching services that I offer are fully online and available to anyone anywhere. Visit my ACIM Coaching practice website for more information.
